Mehdi Montazemi was born in 1943 – 1322 in Iran. He started
painting during his childhood. After he finished high-school, he
started a bachelor degree at the Art University of Tehran - Honar
Haaye Taz’ini. While completing his studies in painting and sculpture,
Mehdi Montazemi was also passionate of architecture and interior
design in particular. After he finished his bachelor successfully, he traveled to Belgium – Belgique for the completion of his Masters
degree in interior design. After his return to Iran, Mehdi Montazemi started teaching interior design at the Art University of Tehran and
at the Superior School of Civil Engineering and Constructions for a period of 10 years. During that period, Mehdi Montazemi had many
art exhibitions as a solo artist as well as joint exhibitions in both Iran
and Belgium.

He moved to Belgium for a period of 20 years. Mehdi Montazemi
is also a passionate of music and believes in playing music in a
scientific fashion. He indeed plays the violin and many other
instruments. For the past 27 years, he has been also seriously
involved in Persian poetry. His work has not been revealed
until lately where he collaborated with his son Peyman Montazemi
on his first album called Man.

Presently, Mehdi Montazemi lives in the United States where
he continues his artistic activities and shares his passion for
music, poetry and painting with other artists.
